The old soviet sputnik has returned to the motherland. While travelling in space it became bigger scale and old age.
But siriously the installation was made for the festival "Archkuznitza 2013". The subject of the festival souded like "russian space art". Indeed it was philosophy art trend in the early twentieth century. It arose in the wake of scientific theories of famous scientist Tsiolkovsky and his associates.
Our idea is straight and simple - recreate the first satellite which is called Sputnik-1. It reflects both the space theme, and our homeland as well.
